NEWTON joins AACSB - prestigious international business school association

NEWTON is pleased to have joined the AACSB Business Education Alliance. The AACSB is a global nonprofit association, which connects educators, students, and businesses to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders.

NEWTON will have access to the AACSB’s network of over 1,500 members worldwide, spanning both the business and academic communities. In partnership with some of these organisations, we will offer new and exciting opportunities to our students and employees, including collaborative research projects, exchange programmes, internships and more.

Vice Chancellor Anna Plechatá Krausová says, “The AACSB is one of the most prestigious international business school associations, and we're thrilled to celebrate our new membership of this network. I’m incredibly excited by the possibilities it opens up for exchanging faculty and ideas with like-minded business universities across the world.”

In the future, NEWTON plans to take its association with the AACSB a step further, by becoming the first business school in the Czech Republic to become accredited. “Membership is the first step in the rigorous process of obtaining the AACSB accreditation, and a clear signal that we are on the right track to achieving this in the next couple of years,”  says Dr. Plechatá Krausova. “The process is designed to keep us true to our mission of operating at the highest level of excellence, reaffirming our commitment to our staff and students, and maintaining transparency in our decision-making,”

With the support and guidance of the AACSB and its members, NEWTON will continue to provide a world class business education, continually innovating to keep up with the latest research, as well as to make sure our students are gaining the skills and experience that are most desired by potential future employers. As we expand our research areas to include topics at the intersection of business and politics, psychology, economics, and more we will work closely with the AACSB to ensure our curriculum covers topics at the cutting edge of business education trends.
